Proof & Progress

Programs for schools, libraries & community organizations

Structured learning experiences, designed for your learners.

Proof & Progress is a for-profit education provider offering contracted tutoring, academic enrichment, STEM and engineering programming, and custom instructional materials. We can provide instruction, develop curriculum, or scope both together.

A clear path from understanding to use

Assess → Reinforce → Apply → Build Independence → Advance

  1. 01 · ASSESS

    Identify the need

An educator identifies the learning need through conversation, observation, and a short instructional skill check.

  2. 02 · REINFORCE

    Teach the concept

Explain the idea in manageable steps, connect it to prior learning, and guide practice.

  3. 03 · APPLY

    Use it in context

Apply the concept to current schoolwork or a purposeful project when it serves the learning goal.

  4. 04 · BUILD INDEPENDENCE

    Try it independently

Check a fresh attempt without the same support, and notice what the learner can do next.

  5. 05 · ADVANCE

    Plan the next step

Use the evidence to update a personalized learning plan and choose the next lesson focus.

Matching is educator-led: a tutor or instructor considers the learner’s needs, current work, and instructional skill-check observations to shape a personalized learning plan. Progress tracking means recording the agreed practice, work, and next steps within the program scope, not using an online portal/dashboard or automated matching. Skill checks are instructional observations, not standardized diagnostic tests.

Who we serve

A practical education partner for local learning.

Programs can be scoped for schools, museums, libraries, youth organizations, park districts, community organizations, and similar institutions seeking structured educational programming.

Schools & educators

Academic support, STEM enrichment, curriculum, and implementation materials.

Libraries & park districts

Workshops, seasonal learning, STEM events, and project showcases shaped to the setting.

Youth organizations

Facilitated technical learning and custom content for youth programs.

Community partners

Custom educational programming aligned to defined learner and organizational needs.

How concepts become usable

Four connected parts of a learning program.

What’s hard to understand?

Identify the concept or skill students need help with.

How will we teach it?

Use a clear teaching response, demonstration, or guided practice.

Where can students apply it?

Connect concepts to schoolwork or a purposeful project that serves the learning goal.

What can they do next?

Use a fresh independent attempt to inform the next lesson or activity.

Illustrative example · Not client work or measured results

Students investigate displacement through foil boat tests, revise a design, then independently explain the revision using their observations.

Program areas

Instruction, curriculum, or both.

Tutoring & academic enrichment

Individual and small-group math and science tutoring, tutoring cohorts, academic enrichment, and seasonal learning programs.

STEM & engineering instruction

Engineering discovery workshops, project-based learning, CAD and Fusion 360, design, prototyping, and 3D-printing education.

Custom curriculum development

Learning objectives, lesson plans, learner materials, facilitator guides, assessment, reflection, and materials planning.

STEM events & showcases

A one-day or weekend format may include demonstrations, mini design challenges, showcases, or family engagement, depending on scope.

Program design & delivery

Plan a custom educational program around your learner group, schedule, equipment, goals, and delivery context.

Sponsored or licensed learning

Organizations can inquire about a defined sponsored program or permitted curriculum use; terms are scoped individually.

What students experience

Active participation with a learning purpose.

Depending on the program scope, students can work with clear learning goals, guided instruction, hands-on challenges, and opportunities to apply and explain what they learn.

Explore a question

Observe, ask questions, measure, and connect to academic concepts.

Make and solve

Use hands-on tasks to apply math, science, design, and engineering ideas.

Test and iterate

Review what works, use evidence, and refine an approach or prototype.

Explain and reflect

Communicate reasoning and reflect on learning, process, and next steps.

Example program pathways

A starting point for a custom scope.

Program names below describe possible directions, not a fixed menu. Activities, materials, duration, and delivery are discussed with each organization.

Design-to-Print STEM Academy

A possible multi-week path through problem definition, measurement, CAD, prototyping, iteration, and presentation.

Fusion 360 & 3D Printing

Introductory CAD and digital fabrication activities planned around available equipment and supervision.

Engineering Discovery Workshops

Short-format sessions for engineering thinking, experiments, design, and troubleshooting.

Seasonal Learning Program

Academic foundations connected to projects and learner interests during a seasonal program.

Math & Science Enrichment

Cohort learning that emphasizes reasoning, application, and academic confidence.

Custom STEM Curriculum

Ready-to-teach content and materials for learners and facilitators.

Custom scope & proposal

Designed around your organization.

We shape a proposal around the learners and the organization’s practical requirements. Institutional pricing is discussed through a custom proposal, not published as a fixed menu.
